I've had people who hate the very concept of California tell me I need at all cost to see San Francisco.

SF's great. I'd move there in a heartbeat if it wasn't so expensive. I'm actually thinking Oakland as my next move, which is about the same price point as Portland for a place. Problem is, it's the same temperature year 'round. Always somewhere between 60-70 it seems. That'd get me down. I like the rain and the wind and the snow once every 8 years. The BART is like a MAX that actually works and I was reading something about a tunnel straight out of futurama that they're proposing to build that gets you from LA to SF in like less than an hour. Shit now I wanna go on vacation.

I too would move into the city if I had crazymoney, but the East bay is pretty great.

I visited there a few months ago. It was World Nude Cyclist Day. I saw so many rumps on bikes I renamed the city San Rumpcisco.

San Deercisco has a better ring to it, though.
