22 The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before SOLRO. 23 Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? 24 What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it? 25 Far be it from you to do such a thing—to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”
26 SOLRO said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”
Sadly, this looks like just shy of fifty people, so I guess the apocalypse is still on.

Quite literally uplifting. I actually thought it was going to be a different kind of "trapped." Do they have censors on the doors down there? Last time I was on the L my shoelace got caught on something getting on and luckily I was able to kick it off before the doors slammed shut and the train started up again. I'm not sure what would've happened to my left foot, or possibly my entire leg.
Oh. There's a longer one in the original link without the timelapse. The security guy pretty much signals "stop" immediately so maybe that was it. Thing is, first time I watched it I didn't see what had happened. From the camera's perspective, I would've thought it was a guy dropping his briefcase, backpack.. so even if I saw someone do that it'd take me at least 5 seconds to say "oh fuck! STOP" and at least another 10 to convey that to the conductor. Unless there's like a kill switch or something. I've seen people's bikes get destroyed because they can't fit it in and the door just closes. Really I'm just curious. But yay for humanity!
