Made it to 1:29 before giving up.

Well, Mel Blanc got paid for this. That counts for something.

He did? Why does his Daffy sound so fucking off then?

BHWW
Why does the Frankenstein's monster have a voice you'd expect to come from a cheap cartoon Dracula, and this cheap cartoon's Dracula sound like...well, that?
TheSupafly
Its a later boris karloff impersonation, so I guess they thought it made sense.

BHWW
It's just that I'm used to Draculas and other vampires in cheap cartoons from the 60s/70s sounding like someone either doing their Lugosi impression or their impression of the narrator of Bobby Pickett's "Monster Mash".

John Holmes Motherfucker
Doesn't the Frankenstein guy sound like Monster Mash? Cause they're both doing Karloff. Boris Karloff actually did perform "Monster Mash" for TV once.

Dracula does seem pretty random. The Wolfman is inspired by legendary DJ Wolfman Jack, best known these days, I think, for American Grafitti.

Filmation probably paid more for the character rights than for the animation.
Bort
The legions of the damned sitting around watching TV. Oh yeah, Filmation knows how to utilize a character all right.
BHWW
And the Wolf Man, is he supposed to be a jive turkey or a hippie or what.

yogarfield
You guys are acting like you wouldn't watch this if you came across this while channel-surfing. This is 100% hysterical.

yogarfield
Not supposed to be a reply, BUT WHAT THE FUCK EVER YALL HEEHEE

Why is there a live-action stop-motion animation STOP, LOOK, AND LISTEN (1967) homage towards the end of this thing?

I'd say it's a rip-off, but I suspect the segment is probably from the same animators, Chuck Menville and Len Jansen.

or maybe they had to use live-action because the animation was over budget!

Sexy Duck Cop
When I was a kid, my dad always used to try to get me to watch Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the 1970's, and it always felt like being force-fed Necco Wafers and circus peanuts.
