You say you are lying, but if everything you say is a lie, then you are telling the truth, but you cannot tell the truth because everything you say is a lie, but you lie... You tell the truth but you cannot for you lie... illogical! Illogical! Please explain! You are human. Only humans can explain their behavior! Please explain!

I don't play Counterstrike or know how the bots are put together so I don't understand what's going on here. Are bots programmed with the assumption that the stock sound clips are being played by humans who want actual assistance and aren't lying?

blue vein steel - 2014-11-15 it's the bots themselves actually "talking" through voice chat, reacting contextually to what's happening in the game world. Normally, the player's team (in this case 1 vs. 12 bots) wouldn't hear the other team's voice chat, but the video maker recorded it.

Crab Mentality - 2014-11-16 According to the youtube description, the guy dubbed in all the sounds himself. I never played counterstrike, so I don't know how accurate this is.

infinite zest - 2014-11-16 I haven't played CS but I remember even with Unreal Tournament the bots would have little text messages (back in the ancient times before headsets were common) like "headshot" and "owned" etc. that would pop up when they shot you or shot each other. In a botmatch of capture the flag, every second was something about getting to the flag, depending on your team size. It got annoying so I turned it off.

baleen - 2014-11-16 When I was 23 I played CS and was so into it that I chose to play CS instead of sleep with my beautiful girlfriend.
A friend of mine pointed out how fucked up that was, so I stopped playing computer games for 12 years.
