obligatory panty shot tag

garcet71283 - 2014-12-06

I remember when I was about 12 playing Street Fighter 2 for the SNES with my friends and we would keep making Chun Li jump so we could catch a glimpse of her pussy (at least what we were convinced was pussy, turned out to be lazy sprite work and the panties were fleshy colored).

Also, back in my day, all you needed to know was down, down-forward, forward, punch...over...and over...and over...

infinite zest - 2014-12-07

I remember finding one of those controllers that you could pre-program moves into at a goodwill or something. My friends didn't know that it was different from a regular controller. Muahahaha

tesla_weapon - 2014-12-07

Two words: EASY MODE

ashtar. - 2014-12-06

eh. looks like a street fighter game.

fluffy - 2014-12-06

Imagine the nerd outrage if they'd decided to do something different though. Like, released a sandbox MMO with crafting and free-to-play elements or something.

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-12-06

We'll just have to do with the overblown indignation of baby cynics, instead.

jreid - 2014-12-06

Same shit, better graphics.

SolRo - 2014-12-06

by V to they mean the 5th version of IV? Because it looks like IV.

fluffy - 2014-12-06

What's different between this and II, aside from the graphics style?

SolRo - 2014-12-06

the way punches, blocking, counters and bunch of other competitive shit works, supposedly.

I dunno. I just threw some quarters into a machine and pressed buttons that worked until the computer beat me and I ran out of quarters.

oddeye - 2014-12-06

Dude you don't fucking know shit, this is TOTALLY different than Street Fighter Alpha 3, which was the best one. Therefore it's crap.

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-12-06

This game and Guilty Gear have given me a standard for Chinese women's legs that real life can never hope to live up to.

Meerkat - 2014-12-06

Those fuckers will crush your head like a really old and fragile watermelon.

The Mothership - 2014-12-06

How is this game supposed to be more fun than Street Fighter II again?

infinite zest - 2014-12-06

It's funny, last time I was at the barcade they had all four SF cabinets in order, and the line was exclusively for SF2. What's also funny is I think my favorite SF is actually Street Fighter 3D. But I'm weird.

Scrimmjob - 2014-12-07

Did they have street fighter 1 at this barcade?

Void 71 - 2014-12-07

Capcom has spent two decades fouling up the original formula with bogus mechanics that do nothing but detract from what made SF2 great: the neutral game. I'm sure SF5 will continue that proud tradition.

roofle - 2014-12-07

SF3 was better than SF2, but that was Capcom's last hurrah as far as fighting games go.

infinite zest - 2014-12-07

Yep. Regular Ol' Street Fighter 1.

infinite zest - 2014-12-07

Aw man, I haven't been there for a while and it looks like it's gone. That game's elusive like Polybius. No SF2 either. Just 3. However they do have a 6 player Xmen arcade cabinet now. Yayz.

Spaceman Africa - 2014-12-06

I heard next week they're announcing Super Street Fighter V

dairyqueenlatifah - 2014-12-07

And then three months later Capcom will be selling Ultra Street Fighter V at full retail price. But DeeJay, Fei Long, Cammy, and T. Hawk will be DLC only at an additional each.

takewithfood - 2014-12-06

The lighting effects look kinda neat.

infinite zest - 2014-12-06

Available solely and exclusively for the Playstation 4. Available for everything else three weeks later.

Kid Fenris - 2014-12-06

I hope they pull another Street Fighter III deal where the cast is all new except for two returning characters. But that would never happen today.

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-12-07

I just want Skullomania back.

MacGyver Style Bomb - 2014-12-07

Everyone does.

DrVital - 2014-12-07

I thought I was the only one. EX Plus Alpha was the one I learned on, and still love.

Last I checked Skullo was owned by the developer that made the game, and not Capcom. We will never see his like again.

infinite zest - 2014-12-07

Oh yeah! EX, not 3D. Skullomania was the shi!

tesla_weapon - 2014-12-07

I already used my stars! Skullo rules!

Gmork - 2014-12-06

I tried to get into Super Street Fighter IV on the 360 because they made it one of their bi-monthly "free forever" games for download. (Seems very generous, but the history of these offered games almost always consist of vehicles for tons and tons of DLC that probably isn't doing too hot in sales)

I'll stick with M.U.G.E.N. I can be Evil Ken and team up with Fat Albert against both Galactus and Thanos. There's no going back after that.

I don't need you anymore, capcom! Your antics are old and tired, SNK! You shall all be absorbed by M.U.G.E.N.!

il fiore bel - 2014-12-07

I got SFIV for the 3DS. It was okay, but I stopped playing it so much when I realized over half the cast were just shitty clones or hybrids of the original fighters. It was fun trying to figure out what they were yelling in battle, because some of it sounded obscene.

infinite zest - 2014-12-08

The more I see "I got SFIV, SFV" the more it sounds like some horrible sexually transmitted disease.

betamaxed - 2014-12-07

That look just like SFIV, except with better lighting effects. So naturally I will buy and ply it.

craptacular - 2014-12-07

what's sad is that this is a flagship title, so in twenty years there will be SF12, just like the FF series, just like mario, mario kart, and super smash bros, despite their original creators being burned out on those series.
