Pingu is such a great show. I discovered it when the kids were young enough to not talk yet, and they really responded to a show where everything was so emotive. They did a great job making the stories easy to follow without any speech.

Back when I was still married I'd babysit my nephew all the time and all he wanted to watch was Bee Movie, over and over and over with me. Which is fine, but it's pretty much Seinfeld dialogue with a CGI bee. I wish I had told known about this show at that time. Maybe I did, but I always thought it was some anime thing or something (?) oh well, noot noot.

Back when my kids were toddlers they both loved the hell out of this show. Now they're 6 and 11 and they stumbled on the old files on our HTPC and ended up rewatching the entire series through new eyes - I watched it with them. Such a timelessly and agelessly entertaining show.
