Will this one at least have the Big Show cameoing as a mall Santa again? It's the least WWE could do to connect this with the original movie.

I think the only similarity with the Schwarzenegger film is the name and having at least 1 pro-wrestler in it.

That's kind of what I think is so funny: A sequel that is built not on the characters or story of the first, but on the premise of people hunting a rare toy for christmas, a scenario so generic and bland and forgettable that a retelling is a wild joke.
But, of course, it's just a shit movie everyone did for a paycheck, the producers (almost certainly) had rights to the name, so fuck it, let's make part two, and get some grad student working on part three for next year.

God. I was a Philosophy/Comp Literature major and even I wouldn't work on this for the money (this can't bring in much money, can it?) I mean, unless you're really passionate about the humor of Larry the Cable Guy, the other guy, who cares guy, I wouldn't even want this on my resume. The first one I saw with my grandma when I was 12 or something, and it was kinda funny. I hadn't seen any R rated Arnie movies (Terminators included) so there were some funny semi-in-jokes that I got later when I did watch them. It wasn't a work of art, but it was endearing. But EVERYTHING Mr. The Cable Guy does is shit. He was never the badass action movie star/ironic as the "nice guy" or whatever like Arnold.. the paycheck will be huge, but is there a way to get everybody in the crew, not just the director and screenwriter, Alan Smithee monikers?

I really like the movie and I'm not afraid to say it.
