Yeah, I don't think that CN's run by homophobes or anything.. the kiss thing bothered me, but I can't think of too many kids' cartoons with kisses on the mouth in the first place, and when they happen they're never with romantic adult intent. One episode of Gumball he's supposed to kiss the anthropomorphic peanut he has a crush on for a school play, panics and kisses her really hard, cracking her shell, which turns her into some amorphous spirit animal straight out of Hayao Miyazaki. That's what kids want to see.

I think my favorite is The Job (the whole episode is linked through the gumball tag) where they "deliver" pizza to a family of pizzas, only to drop it on the ground where it splats all over and slowly slides down the stairs. The look of shock on the pizza's mom and dad's face is uncomfortably hilarious.

The Job won a lot of awards because it was so awesome with the ruination of space and time and everything.

Some people are not meant to have a job...

Hehe yeah. The banana family alone is super fucked up. Like the one where the kid banana is making a video and peels himself and dad banana walks in and starts dancing without the kid banana knowing. Besides Rick and Morty and King Star King it's my favorite show on Cartoon Network.
