I never liked Napalm Death, but I would never call Mick Harris, Lee Dorian, and Bill Steer (and Justin Broaderick, even though he wasn't on this album) talentless hacks. They didn't find their nich until they left Napalm Death, but this is the stuff that kicked off the next 20+ years of extreme metal. There was also a brief period of time in the early '90s when the bands that formed in the wake of Napalm Death were signed to major labels because they thought these guys were going to be part of some big post-grunge musical fad. It obviously never happened, but some really amazing albums came out of that experiment - the best metal albums of all time, in my opinion.
