Nicaragua has never completely recovered from the 1972 earthquake. Managua was never fully rebuilt, and you can still find damage from the earthquake that was never repaired. It devastated the country's economy, and the two decades of violence that followed the quake severely limited any recovery. The Somozas, the Sandanistas, and the Contras are all bastards that did their fair share of damage, but it was 72 quake that truly brought Nicaragua down.

I've found a few documentaries about the earthquake on Youtube, just about all of them in Spanish, but I thought it'd be better if I uploaded something like this instead.

why does it say earthquake in the title? was it a ghost earthquake invisible to us in this video?
