The sensible part of this video- I looked into this, and he was inspired to make this cup because a UFC fighter's cup wasn't good enough to take a flying knee or something, so he made a really tough one.

The other part- They sell models for police and military, as if anyone's specifically aiming for the crotch.

Oh, and the "Military" part is pretty dubious, since he shoots at it with a 9mm, then a .22, which is a far smaller/weaker round for those who don't know. Anyone in the military is likely being shot at with an AK-47 or something, in which case this likely wouldn't help at all. You'd just have cup shrapnel in your groin.

It's his t-shirt that really makes this great.
