I hate the idea of him being scammed again, but I like that he's being more social. Tom Girl Chris Chan is less sad than classic Chris Chan, he just needs to keep the pepper spray at home.

I think it's just a casual dance with a stranger at a club. There are two other videos, and it appears to be going down on some sort of drag queen night, so I suspect that the biological girls in attendance are both A) totally used to weirdos like Chris and B) boyfriend-free (read: lesbian). Granted, it COULD be yet another galpal troll, but details are scanty, and Chris has been relatively tight-lipped about his recent gay bar escapades ("relatively" by Chris standards, of course).

Anyways, this is pretty much the closest he's come to a genuine physical interaction with a girl (prostitute notwithstanding) since, well, since forever. It's fascinating to think that, after all these years, the thing which is finally getting him out of his shell and bringing his Love Quest to at least within the realm of possibility, is Chris turning into a cross-dresser and hanging out at gay bars.

As for Blarmsgate, as far as I know his protest campaign is still going strong, although I get the impression that he's starting to expand his horizons a bit. He's been very busy writing new stories and making new Sonichu art, which is excellent! In fact, the last few weeks have seen the biggest burst in canonical Sonichu work since he abandoned his comics and went into hiding all those many years ago. Most of these new stories revolve around Chris-Chan Sonichu's sex change and how the other Sonichus in CWCville are coping.

Typically they're called lesbians. Gay tends to refer to men. At least, as a gay man, that's how I've always understood it. I've never heard someone call a lesbian bar a gay bar before.

That's not a very nice thing to say.

I don't think gay bars discriminate, DQL, at least not where I'm at. Where I'm at, most gay bars are integrated and co-ed, accepting both gay men and women, as well as *straight* men and women, who just want to come down and hang out with friends. According to the videos and the comments posted by Christorians involved in Operation Film Christine Dancing, that seems to be the case here; the club Chris prefers caters mainly to leather gays, drag queens, and gay transwomen, but a fair number of lesbians and straight boyfriend-free girls show up, too.

Things may be different in your area, however.

It's that wonderful time of year in Portland known as Fleet Week where the sailors all come into port and basically go pussy hunting at the downtown bars and there's always a lot of barfights that break out between trannies and sailors in the trans district (they call it a district but really it's just 3 drag bars I think) and it kind of makes sense.. a lot of people are just ignorant and it doesn't matter what latitude or longitude you are or sailor or transvestite, but sexual ideologies will always clash. Although a public figure I was amazed at how much was talked about Catlyn Jenner, but I've lived with transgenders most of my life, so I'm not a farmboy from Wisconsin, or even possibly my next door neighbors for all I know.

I'm just picturing some gay bar, where this girl tries to get in, and a chaps-wearing bouncer with a handlebar mustache comes up and says "Ah think you better turn 'round, miss, an' go back right the way ya came. We don't serve YER KIND 'round here."

I would like to open a bar like that one day, to cater specifically to the MGTOW crowd. I will call it, "MRGay".

Yeah I know that gay bars don't discriminate, I wasn't trying to imply that they do or should. It's just that every gay bar I've ever been to had at most one or two fag hags who'd tagged along. There's nothing but women in this video. That's just something I've never seen in a gay bar before, and seems to defeat the purpose of a gay bar in my mind. Nothing wrong with any of it though.

Of course all the gay bars I've been in tend to cater to the man's masculine man/cowboy/bear side of things, so that may have something to do with it.

Like, we (our generation), in our 50s or 60s, will find out that they're making a Chris-chan movie and will get really excited. And our children/nieces/nephews/whatever will not understand who the guy is and why we're suddenly so interested but understand through our enthusiasm that this is an important cultural figure that we only just now are realizing the extent of. The kids will known on some instinctive level that Chris-chan is the kind of thing we gloss over when we talk about "back in my day," and finding out about him will help them understand how we were just as awful in our time as they are in theirs.

Yes, it is a "re-enactment" of Chris' Gamestop assault. Someone made a pilgrimage to the Gamestop, retraced Chris' footsteps, and then overdubbed the resulting footage with audio ripped from the original fan video.

People are doing this. People are literally going on pilgrimages to walk in the footsteps of Saint Christopher.

The thing I'd compare this one specific event to is the Zapruder film and the Kennedy assassination, but Dorian Gray is a good way of describing the Sonichu fandom in general.

Its like the people who have been going to his court dates. Granted I can't criticize them too much, since I actively keep up to date with Christine's adventures.

The court keeps issuing a continuance on his hearing. They probably don't see his case as a priority, and honestly at this rate I wouldn't be surprised if they don't just let him off entirely.
