I thought it was funny at first, but the ending is just too perfect.

This is kind of brilliant. I really need to listen to the Perfect Strangers intro every morning to pump me up and inspire me.

EvilHomer - 2015-06-08

I don't get it. Isn't this the regular intro? Where's the joke?

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-06-08

This episode was the best of the series.

I really wish Voyager had been more like this, filled with conflict and characters not being all clean cut. It annoyed me. I hated Voyager for everyone being on the same page and chipper as fuck. Seven of Nine was the only exception and it made her the only interesting character, ever. Even TNG knew that characters couldn't always be on the same page. Troi often got annoyed with people, Riker was naturally distrusting, Data was always at odds with understanding anyone's emotions, Guinan and Jean Luc called each other out on their shit, and Worf was a barrel of conflict all over the place.

Enterprise could have gone a lot farther with T'Pol's character than it did. The biggest ball Star Trek ever dropped was killing off Trip after two whole seasons of them having some telepathic communication ability across star systems that was unfuckingprecedented, and that whole love story got killed off along with his life, and didn't even bother to show us any of the conflict that led to that flash forward. With no context. Yes, I'm still angry about this, it was the worst ending I think I've ever seen.

Scott Bakula should have fought with people more and been a little bit darker, or the hot British dude, someone should have been. Hoshi was always repressed and it never really went anywhere like it should have. I did like the terrorism storyline of season 3 (a hell of a lot more interesting and complex than Into Darkness, which basically wasn't even trying) and the whole Timewar thing.

Star Trek should come back with a series that learns from the mistakes of all of the shittier parts of its many series and movies. The goal should be "make it not boring, like the mirror universe episodes"

I'm not sure you watched this video.

Or maybe you did and your comment is even better than it seems.

I liked Hoshi because she reminded me of my old drill sergeant, and I liked T'pol because she had killer abs and great tits. There were also more kung fu fights on average, so Enterprise was the best series in the franchise.

um

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-06-08

sorry, I had just finished watching Star Trek episodes from both Voyager and Enterprise on a nostalgia kick off and on all week, and I think about Star Trek way, way too much.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-06-08

But in all seriousness, I would totally watch a mirror universe series or miniseries, they should totally make that. Like, a ten episode arc covering alternate universe either right after this or Kirk era.

Juice Eggs McKenna - 2015-06-09

This is a lot more like what would really happen than the rest of the franchise depicts.
