Good question. I don't know if uploaders can know who has embedded their videos. There's been a handful of people over the years that became aware of their presence here like DemoniusX and the stalkedinboston chick but I think most are oblivious.

A youtube uploader can see places a video is embedded on in youtube analytics, though this level of tech-savvy may be beyond most exhibits. stalkedinboston just googles her name obsessively, which also works.
