I agree. He's obviously got some problems emotionally and it's not like he killed your dog. He apologized on his page, sort of. If he does it again, I say we kindly approach him not to rather than go through a bunch of passive aggressive BS. You don't want to be like Bo News or 4chan or other psychopathic websites out there.

I think 2 days is a reasonable minimum duration of on-site ridicule, but 5 days or substantial contact off of the site is about as long as it could go before we become the real cyclops here.

Anybody have a link to the apology? The thing I saw about "forgiveness" is bullshit. Straight up apologize to the usernames you plagiarized from, dude. Besides the IGN stuff when I was at e3 stuff I mentioned in a previous video, I also almost got kicked out of college for cutting and pasting something that I wrote in college. In my case it was a paper I wrote in high school that I decided to "publish" so I was plagiarizing myself and the English department didn't know, but I was still just being a lazy Dennis Leary, changing a few words here and there, making me not sound like me.

The paraphrasing is fine. Ontologically the world's expanded to Schrodinger's Cat proportions. You can write and not write the same comment at different times just like the cat died in a microwave of whatever or went on to write America's Best Fails starring Terry Crews. These things happen. But cutting and pasting.. not cool

I think the line is somewhere around what others have suggested:
-ridicule on poetv, and just enough fb/g+ contact to let him know we think he sucks for stealing dozens of our jokes for months (with the possibility of monetizing his following at some point)
-stop him from monetizing it

I think it would be over the line to bother him about it forever if he's not monetizing it.
