What makes Brian Harrod so Brian Harrod?
Brian Harrod.

That guy - 2015-08-03

Are you going for some sort of meme that implodes on its own meta-ness here? Is it harder to steal when it's that heavy??

^ see?

urbanelf - 2015-08-03

You guys see that skateboarding dog yet?

infinite zest - 2015-08-03

Hey it's my iPhone's alarm clock ring tone! Did Apple pull a Brian Harrod? Actually this could be public domain like poor Mr. Screaming Wilhelm.

But that does beg the question: is everything on here public domain? I've mentioned it before but I did a bunch of the early lolcats back on 4chan, and somebody took the name and made a book and a website, and there's nothing a bunch of anon kids can do about it except for wish they'd thought of it first.

Old_Zircon - 2015-08-03

I'm pretty sure you forfeit your rights as soon as you call Caturday image macros "lolcats."

But I've been on 4chan 5 times in my life so what do I know?

infinite zest - 2015-08-03

I was young, man, and got I caught up with a bad crowd. :)

infinite zest - 2015-08-03

They gave my dyslexia!

memedumpster - 2015-08-04

That's also an incorrect use of "begging the question." Call me a word nazi, if you must, but "begging the question" requires you have a prostitute, a dozen hamsters, and the intent to do it anyway.

Old_Zircon - 2015-08-04

Look at what Brian Harrod has pushed us to. We're tearing each other apart in here.

infinite zest - 2015-08-04

The question that's begged is one that has been asked before in other videos: is this kind of petty theft actually theft of intellectual property or are we just usernames and one step away from anonymous so it's ok to cut and paste legally, it's just an ethical line in the sand?

memedumpster - 2015-08-04

Personally, I would deny everything I have ever said on this site to God Alrighty with my last breath. Who would own up to this mess?

I think we just like making fun of the guy.

betabox - 2015-08-04

The answer to the question which was raised (not begged) is that, according to the DMCA, everything which is published (and that covers a wide range of things, including posting on an internet forum) is automatically covered by copyright law.

EvilHomer - 2015-08-04

Trying to cite the DMCA as justification for going after Brian Harrod is the moral equivalent of citing National Socialist law in order to justify thrill-killing an entire family of Jews.

For fuck sakes, Homer.

That guy - 2015-08-03

Jet Bin Fever - 2015-08-06

I was gone for a while, and I came back to find all this Brian Harrod-ness here. Not sure I really follow it.

baleen - 2015-08-06

Brian Harrod runs an online news mill. He is a janitor from New England. He has a disability. Most importantly, he steals poetv comments and links and posts them as his own.
He is also a convicted steroid peddler and is partly responsible for the Patriots having an asterisk next to their last Superbowl win.

Jet Bin Fever - 2015-08-06

I wish I could believe the Patriots thing is true, but I'm skeptical.
