When I was a kid, we used to tape tons of stuff off of TV. Most of those tapes were either lost in two different moves, or water damaged and had to be thrown out. I wish I still had some of them.

Which koalas did you hate? There are two koala-themed shows here: Noozles and The Adventures of the Little Koala. Both sprang from the koala craze that gripped Japan after the Tokyo Zoo got its first koala in 1984.

I remember hating Noozles for a whole summer when I was a kid, but then I noticed that it had an actual ending, which is something cartoons rarely had. Or maybe that applied only to American toy cartoons. David the Gnome died in his series finale, after all.

Adventures of the Little Koala! I hated the two kid koalas and their fucking smug father.

The only episode I remember is the father getting a pair of stilts and smugly boasting how fast he can move around in them. The kids don't believe him so he makes a bet with them that he could win in a distance race. The kids eventually tire out running and he overtakes them in stilts to win. Even as a kid I knew how bullshit that was.
