This is what low-level hacking actually looks like, minus the nice animations explaining it all. I will show it to my students when they do the assembly part of my microcontroller course.

Hack the Mario Planet.
So simple, a baby could understand
what is the point? The game consists of walking left or right and jumping. Who gives a shit??
Because taking a shit, eating three times a day and sleeping for at least 6 hours only takes up part of day. You then spend a bit more time doing something so you have a place to eat and sleep and money to buy food. After that you're left with time to spend on things that interest you. Like finding bugs in SMB or watching videos and commenting on PoeTV.

People with more joy in their hearts than you.

But a flea has more joy in its heart than you do.

One day, oddeye, you'll die and free up that space in memory for something else.

Well, Oddeye, you wanted to know who gives a shit. There is your answer.

Was it what you were expecting?

Obviously I meant why would any REAL person care? Not boring, balding basement trolls; they are obsessed with any old childish bullshit.

Ah, well, in that case, your answer is: they don't. Boring, balding basement trolls care. "Real" people, as you define them, care about other things.

Programmer here. I enjoyed this enough to watch it through. I could imagine that it would be a lot of fun to figure out something like this and then make a video of it. I'm too busy with work and my own hobbies, but back in college I did equally nerdy (well almost) things over the summer.
