Not like there's any valid reason to be in ND anyway.

jfcaron_ca - 2015-09-04 I recently read an interesting article about sex workers (mostly aboriginal) in ND. Apparently the trade is mostly centered around oil camps and this massive annual car/motorcycle show.
Unfortunately I can't find the article and there are a bajillion others about the same topic when I try to google.
Anyways, the point is that apparently some people travel to ND specifically to abuse aboriginal girls and women.

jfcaron_ca - 2015-09-05 Oh nevermind, that was in South Dakota. Sturgis.

infinite zest - 2015-09-06 Ha yeah everything that popped into my head was South Dakota too. But, one of the best movies ever made is Fargo, so there's that.. Can't think of any other movies named after a town that are any good (Escape From.. etc. movies don't count.)

Isn't North Dakota from where that low-grade crude came that destroyed Lac Mégantic? It's the US's equivalent to the Alberta Tar Sands.
There are many reasons why protesters and activists would head there, if it wasn't so goddamn far. Now if they ever try, they can get tased/murdered from the air.

SolRo - 2015-09-04 They're mostly going to be used on all the newly homeless roughnecks now that the oil industry in the area is cratering.
