No Sunday funnies strip was ever actually funny, though (except for Calvin and Hobbes, which I refuse to lump in with either of those). Most Sunday funnies are horrendous abortions of comedy and Garfield is the most clear cut case. When it comes to TV they did Garfield a favor and threw in some actual jokes here and there, but it was never anything great. I actually liked the random US Acres bits, mainly because of the Banana Nose song.
