I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said "I may be old but I saw all the good bands" or something along those lines.. I wasn't even born yet when this was out and got to know Iggy Pop's music through commercials.. this would've been awesome.

I'd be way more excited about Woo or Young Marble Giants or Soulsonic Force or even Cerrone at this point , but Iggy's still a great lyricist and this looks like a fun show.

My favorite Stooges song is "We Will Fall" though (I like all of it, although I never actually owned that Phil Spector one everyone loves so I haven't heard it much, I mostly listen to the first one and Live Metallic K.O.), so probably not the best person to be critiquing Iggy Pop's output.

I also could have sworn this was a dupe, I mostly submitted it because of the David Lee Roth high kicks compilation on the front page right now.
