I understand the meaning of the word "for", but as with many words in the English language, it can have various meanings depending upon the grammar used, and the context in which it appears. I assumed the preposition "for" was modifying the verb "to make", when in fact it was modifying the noun, "language"! In other words, I parsed your sentence as "At the behest of space jocks, a nerd made a language"; but I now take it that you meant "a nerd made a language; the language was intended to be used by space jocks". You did not mean to imply that the space jocks had any knowledge of, or direct input into, the nerd's linguistic activities, hence rendering my response nonsensical!

Question: in Klingon, how complex is the relationship between prepositions and the words which they modify? Does the language have separate prepositional forms, depending on whether they are being used as adjectives or as adverbs? Like, if I was to tell a Klingon warrior, "I primed the photon torpedoes for you", I'd really like to know beforehand if there might be any ambiguity as to whether I mean to *help* him, or to *blow him up*...!
