Two Jar Slave - 2016-01-25
Part of me is glad he's gone back to the classic look, but something is off here. Maybe it's the addition of a pocket kerchief, tie pin, matching lapel pin, and charcoal goddamn eye-shadow, but suddenly he just looks like a Davis Aurini cosplayer.
So five stars.

Old_Zircon - 2016-01-27 Accidie, I agree to a point. I think what people are really reacting to when they criticize his his affectations is the obvious cognitive dissonance between the effect he thinks he's creating and the effect he's actually creating in the eyes of anyone who doesn't already agree with him. Someone like Skallagrim dresses at least as goofy, probably more, but carries it naturally and it comes of as personal style. Aurini comes off like a 12 year old in a school play.
For me it's down to the fact that he dresses like a LaVey Satanist, and nearly all of the LAVey Satanists I've dealt with in real life have been insufferable egoists, even the ones who have other redeeming qualities.

300% gayer than I've ever seen him. He's like John Waters impersonating Anton LaVey.
|
Old_Zircon - 2016-01-25 But he's also starting to develop Buscemi eyes.
|
EvilHomer - 2016-01-26 I dunno, OZ, to me, he looks about as gay as he always has.
It's definitely part of his charm! A Catholic monarchist who has the mannerisms and fashion sense of a gay Satanist is nothing if not memorable.
|
Old_Zircon - 2016-01-27 I forgot he's catholic, that actually explains a whole lot.
|
Old_Zircon - 2016-01-27 Also I don't pay too much attention to him so I probably just underestimated his base level of swish.

Also in the works: more fussy and frankly, prissy-looking fiddling with accessories like whiskey tumblers, cigarette lighters and pocket handkerchiefs.

No more "Bad Audio Hour"?! Oh no! Whatever shall we do!?

chumbucket - 2016-01-26
His point: "I'm gonna do some stuff this year."

What is that I bring you that's unique, that's different, that's uniquely me?"
THOSE ALL MEAN THE SAME THING. LEARN WHAT WORDS MEAN.
|
EvilHomer - 2016-01-26 Well no, in fairness to Aurini, they do mean different things.
|
Old_Zircon - 2016-01-27 In fairness to Anaxagoras, "unique" and "unique" don't.

bawbag - 2016-01-27
He gets swishier with every video.
