All the jokes don't work!

baleen - 2016-03-07

shitstains. I can't believe I laughed at the black dolphins.
I have watched this person make garbage for so many years I forgot that people actually like him.

Waugh - 2016-03-07

I NEED A HUNDRED BLACK DOLPHINS FOR A HUNDRED BAD MEN

Bort - 2016-03-07

I'm in a weird place where I can't gloat over Nancy's death or be sad about it or feel much of anything. It's more like hearing the last WWi vet died: the end of an era, that chapter of history is done (even though we're still dealing with the consequences).

This wasn't a very good clip but I understand Binro's desire to post something disrespectful about "Mommy".

Oscar Wildcat - 2016-03-07

I thought it appropriate to mark the occasion with a big bowl of legal 503 haze hybrid. As you say Bort, the war is over. We won. All that fuss over florists.... go figure.

EvilHomer - 2016-03-07

Thank you for saying that, Mr Bort. I don't think we should be gloating over the passing of Mrs. Reagan, either. Nancy was a very nice lady. As a young child, she took the time to go on television and speak to me. She was the first person to tell me that it was cool, saying "no" to drugs!

EvilHomer - 2016-03-07

I sometimes wonder if, thirty years from now, masses of netizens will be revisiting Michelle Obama's old videos, flooding them with cruel remarks about *her* passing as well.

Bort - 2016-03-07

I"m not saying that we should or shouldn't gloat; I just don't have it in me. I'm not feeling it.

I DID gloat when Scalia died, so let's none of us pretend I'm too good for such things. I only started feeling bad about it when I realized Ruth Bader Ginsburg loved the guy, and if she could see the humanity in him, then I have to respect that. So I can be glad there's a Supreme Court vacancy, but that's as far as it goes for me now.

EvilHomer - 2016-03-07

Not having it in you is still a good start! As you well know, Americans are conditioned to divide themselves into camps and dehumanize their camp's political enemies as thoroughly as possible; even to the point of literally wishing those enemies were dead. This breakdown of civility and intellectual tolerance is one of the key reasons why American corporatism works so well, and any act of resistance against it - even the simple act of not feeling glad about the death of a fairly harmless public figure - is laudable.

Society may tell you that it is your obligation, but you do not have to participate in the Two Minutes Hate.

Oscar Wildcat - 2016-03-07

The Reagans hurt a lot of people, EH. For real. It's been a long time and it's something I'd rather forget entirely, but the 80's did actually happen.

So, you know, while Nancy was telling you to say no, did you buy Ron's crack cocaine?

Caminante Nocturno - 2016-03-07

The Reagans hurt a lot of people, but it was better for the country than letting the 70s continue.

Bort - 2016-03-07

There was nothing good about the 80s. The 70s at least gave us lots of fine music and Billy Beer.

cognitivedissonance - 2016-03-07

I got a lot of grief for picking on Scalia after he died, and yet I won't pick on Nancy after she died, because the difference is one was actively, personally contributing to the destruction of mankind and the other was just an old lady who was on "Diff'Rent Strokes" once.

Binro the Heretic - 2016-03-07

The Reagans were President, not just Ronald Reagan. They were a close-knit unit.

She deserves half the shit.

kingarthur - 2016-03-07

You guys know that McFarlane has almost nothing to do with this show beyond providing literally two of the voices?

This show is funny as hell and you should check it out some time.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2016-03-07

Your tastes are shit and you should feel like shit.

Just kidding about that last part. I still love you.

Cena_mark - 2016-03-07

I disagree Queen. American dad is pretty good sometimes. It's way better than Family Guy.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2016-03-07

Meh, I loathe everything MacFarlane has touched. Not because I'm one of those people who hates MacFarlane, but because everything I've seen of his is just painful.

Actually, to put it out there, I actually think Seth is a pretty cool guy and I agree with most of his views. I just think his "humor" sucks, but that's just my personal taste and as someone who likes his work you shouldn't care.

Gill_Sans - 2016-03-08

McFarlane shows are all garbage, but they are differnt grades of garbage. While something like bordertown might be pure medical waste that no one should touch, family guy is more like old food court or grocery store dumpsters; completly disgusting but I can see how someone would jump in if they got hungry enough. American dad is the dumpster behind your DJ friend's apartment building, it's not the worst place to have a smoke and every once in a while you find a decent billy book case.

memedumpster - 2016-03-07

First ladies deserve our grace, since they occupy the most famous unelected position in America and often find themselves married to the most hated people in the world. Most new first ladies must go through some process similar to mob wives once their hubbies start piling up the bodies for cash and treating the earth like a cheap hooker. Who knows how many Goodfella's moments really happen behind closed doors?

Cena_mark - 2016-03-07

Don't leave out possible first men.

memedumpster - 2016-03-08

I think Buchanan's beau was already a politician.

betabox - 2016-03-08

Bullshit. Nancy Reagan was hated on her own merits. She deserves nothing but our scorn.
