I thought this was going to be some obscure, totally unknown Democrat challenger in some long-forgotten red district dominated by agribusiness and with a firmly-entrenched Republican representative that spends most of his time writing bills forcing SNAP recipients to show three forms of ID to purchase any items except bread and apples.
