So if Superman pushed the moon out of its orbit, wouldn't it crash into the earth? Or at least fly off into space, permanently disrupting the balance of Terran ecosystems? If you can can see Superman's form against the curve of the moon, wouldn't he have to be hundreds of miles tall?
But even as I was typing the above objections, I began to reconsider. This is actually pretty close to the batshit crazy Superman I grew up with in the sixties. That Superman was less Christ than Paul Bunyan. Every movie about Superman has it's ridiculous moments. Maybe the way to make him consistent is to make him ridiculous from beginning to end, because, admit it; he is.
Ever notice that, not only Superman, but anyone from Krypton always looks like some Nazi wet dream of Aryan beauty? What is THAT about? I guess that when you're living under a red sun, nobody needs melanin.

I don't know if this is tacky or not, but I have already begun working on a replacement site for poetv. It works similarly, but is mobile friendly, has bigger videos, and the comments have dates next to them, spam reporting, etc. I have a "hopper" system too.
In short, a modern site. When I'm done, I hope it can become as popular as poetv, but I know that's tricky. poetv is great largely because of the users, not just the videos. If I get a bunch of shitty users, it could be awful :(.
I just see poetv breaking down all the time, and the support user(s) don't seem to feel motivated to keep it up to date.
I hope any classic poetv users (like myself) don't see my new site as an attempt to steal glory from poetv itself. It will always have a special place in my heart.
