It happens so rarely when compared to overall encounters with Blacks (who commit most crime, natch) and 2. The media has (((agendas))) to push. I have been a defense attorney for almost 10 years and only twice have I had a case where a bad cop was involved (a going rate of much less than 1%), and even then the criminal did not go free, but got a more favorable sentence. In the meantime, bad negroes? I've had my fill, though my income largely depends on them.

In the current year, the left has gone full circle towards segregation. The mention of "a conversation on race" evokes White eye-rolling and Blacks burning down weave stores and looting quick-stops. It's time to stop talking about race. As long as Blacks are violent communist tools, there is no talking to them. We acknowledge what's really going on--blacks want their own space. Let's disengage completely. Let them have it. While I do think that some black people have a genuine grievance with the way that they're treated by cops, I'm not a fan of BLM. But you hardly have to be some sort of leftist radical to consider most of the above to be absolute horseshit. To wit: there is no separating black people and white people in America. The idea that a population that's been here from the 1600s can be suddenly severed from another population that's been here almost as long is a segregationist fantasy. It has never reflected American reality, and never will. White people are going to have to accept the presence and persistence of black people, and vice-versa. Anyway, American blacks are usually at least partly white, racially speaking, and American white people aren't much more than European mulattoes. Racial purity is an illusion.

It's you, and people like you. Only white people who were raised in white-majority suburbs could ever think that this was even a possibility. People in other countries, and in American cities, know that it's not so easy to simply tear populations in two. They are used to living among people not of their class or race. They deal. You can criticize American blacks for lots of things. American blacks criticize each other for lots of things, usually in conversations that do not involve white people. Race is difficult. I listened to a great story on the NPR about the humor in tragedy. I'll never forget this joke that was made by a mourning daughter:

I believe that is an example of tragic humor operating on its highest level. It's really beautiful.

Orcs has had a lot of different posting styles over the years, which even before The Reveal caused many (including myself) to suspect that Orcs was a collective, rather than a single poester. Furthermore, "Zoe" Orcs had established a fairly detailed story even before her passing - including stuff about her dad, which the obituaries and tributes later confirmed. I'm pretty confident Zoe was indeed who she claimed to be, as such details would have been far too specific to establish and get right prior-to-the-fact, had Zoe been just a random person whom "Pride" Orcs saw in the papers.

And I gotta say, regardless of the truth, it's been pretty shitty the way some people treated her, as well as the way some now treat Pride. Angry people often told Zoe Orcs to get raped and murdered, just as now, they tell Pride Orcs to OD and kill himself. It's violent, it's disturbing, and it's ugly. Now I don't know if Pride Orcs really buys all the RaHoWa stuff he's into these days. I suspect, like with most behavior on the internet, it's a mixture of genuine sincerity and humorous exaggeration. But I do know that the Orcs collective has often expressed frustration at the hypocrisy, and sociopathy, emanating from certain elements within the community - and credit where credit's due, the Orcs raise a fair point.

When it comes to dealing with certain members of a society - particularly outliers, like racists, addicts, and the homeless - it really IS as if "normal" people will readily drop any facade of propriety, correctness, and grace. And it really DOES seem as if the more sanctimoniously modern someone behaves, the harder they will drop this facade when faced with a vulnerable homeless person.

Compare this to my own solution. I try to be patient with Orcs. Sometimes he ignores me, sometimes he answers my questions and I learn a little, sometimes he even softens *his* tone, which makes sense as there is nothing to feed the animosity. That Tuesday morning, the first moment when I learned about the second plane, and we understood what happened, I was at my job. I'm Irish, and we let US planes land at Shannon on their way to the middle-east with various war-materiel. We're also guilty for allowing and tacitly accepting this (along with many other things). I just wouldnt be suprised if there was a terror attack here. I (at least) make the effort to find out whats going on and what has been done in my name, and also to do what I can to reign my government in.
