Same here, part of why I fully embraced best/worst movie weeks.

Anyway, now is not the time to be arguing with each other, now is the time to be resisting Trumpism however each one of us can. Because I doubt anyone here isn't ultimately on the same side (even EH is just being EH and I frankly don't take any of his Trump trolling that seriously).

The original script had his character getting killed at the beginning and he refused to be basically a "cameo", so they just changed it to his son being killed.

This film's "WORST EVAR" reputation is kinda undeserved and exaggerated. Mind you, it is in no way a 'good' movie or even an 'OK' one, but it seemed like reviewers dogpiled on it just to be like "OH OH ME TOO ME TOO I WANT TO WRITE THE BAD WORDS TOO!" when, in fact, Jaws 4 is just *boring*. Like insanely boring. And boring is a very different thing from being "bad" in the kind of way reviewers at the time made it sound.
Still, I did really enjoy the tacked on "Oh, even though Mario Peebles obviously died in the previous scene, he's actually not dead!" ending.

The Jaws NES game based on it got a bad rap, too. It's not good, it's not really even OK, but it's very true to the source material.

I'll be honest, I think this is unironically the best Jaws sequel. 2 is the worst, 3 is the second worst (but most fun) and this is the best.
