Five stars for being so hard that whiny critics gave it negative reviews for being too hard.
It was hilarious that saddos at Kotaku complained about it
After multiple articles by correspondents that games should have an easy mode for people who want the story and that they don’t care if it trivializes the game, the person who reviewed Furi complained it included an easy mode that would trivialize the game, because the easy mode supposedly "rubs it in your face" that the player is a wimp for choosing the easier mode.
I mean, it's a hard game but hard in a fair way.
Also soundtrack by reclusive dethdisco artist DANGER.
That's weird, I was just listening to DANGER this morning, before I clicked here and such. Yeah I like his stuff a lot.

Had lots of fun with the game. Whenever I failed, it felt like it was my fault and not that the game was unfair so I kept retrying until I got it.
It's just too bad the shitty ending drags the whole thing down a peg. Throughout the game you're given hints, allusions and some obvious religious good vs. evil symbolism(Including a reverse take on the Devil and the apple) all of which steer you into assuming what the ending reveal will be.
Then, Spoilers: Fuck all that noise, You're actually Tom Cruise from the movie Oblivion, pick your ending: go blow up the evil space computer or join it. Whatever.

Saw this video, went to Steam, purchased, just like that. Hey, 13 bucks is pretty cheap so even if I'm just going for the eye candy that's still better than anything else I've seen in the movies and such these days.
After I install and play it I might come back to give a gameplay review! Or maybe I won't! But I probably will.
I like it! The difficulty is tough but there's an easy mode as well, so I dunno what everyone's got their panties in a bunch about. A lot of the fighting is more pattern recognition (think the MGS series) vs. an actual fight, but that's cool. And plus it's just pretty to look at. Reminds me of that old PSX game Toshinden for some odd reason. Anyway I like it a lot and it's $13 well spent!
