In the special features of that "Life Aquatic" movie they had a segment with Mark and a bit of a tour of Muttato muzik. In the background you could see these huge looming cabinet sized synthesizers, which looked an awful lot like the kind of stuff Raymond Scott used to build. Unfortunately they didn't really look at them very closely and in subsequent videos from Muttato I haven't seen them again. I emailed Mark about it, but MISTER FUCKING HOLLYWOOD was too busy to respond, sheesh what a jerk.


As an aside, in the late 90's Jerry responded to a friends email about making people shit their pants with sound. He said that despite rumors they had never done it, although he would have loved to.

I was hoping to see the Electronium, I don't know if he still owns it or ever finished having it restored, though.
