See, I took that as a sign that I'm not watching enough Lifetime movies.

You know what's really sad, though, is when you see someone you DO recognize in a Lifetime movie, because it's usually obvious that they ended up there because women are still disposable after their early 30s in the film industry. Lots of women who may not be A list actors but are still better than Lifetime movies seem to have ended up in Lifetime movies once they got up around 40.

Danica McKellar is no Meryl Streep but she should be able to do better than "Mommy I Didn't Do It"


I'm sure there are plenty of others but I don't watch enough Lifetime movies to say off the top of my head.

Yasmine Bleeth in "A Face To Die For"

I hope they all got paid more than they probably did.

Molly Shannon in "More Of Me" (the unofficial Lifetime remake of Multiplicity)

Elisabeth Rohm (the mom) was in tons of OG Law & Order, and was Carmine's wife in American Hustle. She's great. Also the daughter in this movie is implausibly hot.

Lynda Carter was in a really bad one about women regretting posing nude for playboy.

The inevitable Lifetime biopic of Shelly Duvall is going to be unbearable.

Heather Graham was in the Lifetime version of Flowers In the Attic. She was good in Boogie Nights, so we know it's possible for her to act when she's actually given a good script/director.

I have a different Lifetime movie in mind.

Show this, Cyber Seduction, and Cyberbully in a triple feature.

I watched all of this and at first I didn't think it would reach Cyberseduction levels but the third act is pretty amazing.

Right now I'm thinking of Valentine's Day appropriate titles like "My Stepson, My Lover" (90s and widely reputed to be one of the all time worst Lifetime movies), "Dirty Teacher" (based on a true story!), "Open Marriage" (about how open relationships lead to murder), "She's Too Young" (about how oral sex leads to suicide and/or murder, but I haven't found a copy of it yet), and "Mother May I Sleep With Danger?" (don't know much about this one but the title seems to show up a lot in discussions of especially bad Lifetime movies).

I haven't seen any of them though, so I'm not sure what the best choice would be. All except She's Too Young are available in decent quality on Youtube.

Oh, add "The Secret Sex Life of a Single Mom" to that list, it looks amazing but unfortunately it's also proving a bit hard to find.

That's not fair, they also do movies about status anxiety.
