John Holmes Motherfucker - 2017-12-04
OH MY GOD HE DIDN'T DIE, DID HE?
|
infinite zest - 2017-12-04 Nope. Just an hour ago I was on his website to see if he was coming to Portland for his annual Reed College show. Such is the poeTV singularity.

Cynthia used to love Christmas, and so this year I'll be squeezing the holiday for every last drop of comfort and joy. This will help. Thanks!

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2017-12-04
The other day I was in WalMart, and I heard Snoopy's Christmas by The Royal Guardsmen over the PA. The Royal Guardsmen's SNOOPY vs the RED BARON was the first Rock and Roll Record I ever owned, and as I remember, some of it rocked for real. The Guardsmen got on the charts with novelty tunes about Snoopy, and they had a sense of humor, but I suspect their first love was the blues. I can still hear the driving beat from their cover of Bo Diddley.
I suppose that was when it all started to go wrong. The SECOND Rock.and Roll Record I ever owned was Alice Cooper's Billion Dollar Babies.
