The effort required for that perspective shift at 6:30 was truly patriotic.

If we were to enter another total war, i wonder if they would make drone piloting videos for draftees hosted by the kid and dog from Adventure Time?

Nah. The repetition and dopamine reinforcement of video games with a score system is much more effective for making murder reactive and instinctual

blue vein steel - 2017-12-21

so basically the plot of the movie Toys

The US military has been using War LARPing for decades now to train soldiers to shoot to kill on sight. Video games just make it more efficient. Especially for UAV controllers, who are already basically playing crappy low resolution FMV games.

PATENTED COGDISSO ANIMATION HISTORY NOTES:

- Black and white because what you'd see if you saw color was nothing but green and brown, because those were the paints the government was willing to pay for due to surplus. If you watch a Disney/Warner cartoon from the wartime period that isn't military, you'll see a preponderance of greens and browns.

- Most of these were written by Ted Geisel, aka Dr. Seuss. He was famously the only person alive who could tolerate Chuck Jones on a personal basis for any period of time, and they had a long term friendship that started during the war and ran clear up to Geisel's death, and resulted in the 60s Dr. Seuss cartoons all being done by Jones. Jones was a neurotic, vindictive, paranoid nerd that everybody on staff hated but he put out a reliable stream of work so he was never at the wrath of studio heads like Bob Clampett, Jones' polar opposite and archnemesis. Clampett was an outgoing, charming, deeply charismatic ladies man who was a shmoozing favorite of Jack Warner AND Walt Disney.
