Is this what we have to look forward to, endless reboots of everything from classics to pop-culture ephemera?

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2018-01-25 For the big screen, yes. I don't know why, but a movie now has to make all its money in the first weekend, or its a flop. There's no such thing as word of.mouth anymore.
But I would argue that it's not that bad. From the Greeks to the Elizabethans, drama was mostly reboots, and nobody cared. I love the new Star Wars movies (actually, I haven't seen the new one yet) the DC movies are fun, and I fucking LOVE Marvel studios.
And if you want to see some smart, cutting-edge stuff, it's on TV. Jesus Christ, the documentaries on Netflix alone are just wonderful! Errol Morris has a new.six part epic called WORMWOOD, about the MK Ultra program.
Oh, and I like DISJOINTED, so you should probably disregard all my opinions from this point forward.

Turns out this is part of a ad campaign for Tourism Australia. So, yeah, even commercials have to be reboots now.

Going to the website (Dundeemovie.com) it looks very much genuine. Chris Hemsworth (aka Thor) is in it too.
