You can't float a boat like that in a swamp you idiot!

A riff on this painting would have been more on point:

He's charging 340 bucks for a printed copy.
THIS EDITION SOLD OUT.

Holy shit, dude's got to go back to Home Depot to pick up some more ink cartridges. HE'S SOLD OUT.

I can't knock his hustle, though.

Just think what could be accomplished with Photoshop, an inkjet printer and a buying demographic like that...

SolRo - 2018-08-01

I don't think too many people went broke hawking gaudy nationalistic-patriotic garbage to the retard belt.

examples; commemorative plates, state quarters with a color sticker put on them, and a ton more I willfully forgot.

It boggles my mind that people actually believe this. My hopes that Trump would be some kind of outsider reformer went away the moment his cabinet picks were made.

SolRo - 2018-08-02

The fact you had those hopes at all shows how delusional you can be

Recently I had to move my 92 year old grandfather to a nursing home. He had a stack of "autographs" from Donald Trump, all of them very obviously from an auto-pen signing on very cheap inkjet pictures of inspirational quotes, amongst other things like piles and piles of unread Christian books and unopened DVD-of-the-months. I'm not really sure what to do about it because the implication is that he has been on an auto-draw from his bank account to the Trump campaign that nobody knows how to stop, least of all him. He's a pretty wealthy guy who has spent his entire life hoarding money in secret places and the very likely chance is that the majority of it won't ever be found.

None of this money will ever whittle itself down to me, I rescued the things I personally liked (including a 200 year old dictionary and some Korean war booty), so I'm not sure I care. The crazy thing is he never once even expressed a political opinion within earshot of me or my mother, and he was, as far as I know, a very apolitical guy. If he was donating to Trump it seemed really out of character.

Dementia can really fuck up people.

I didn't have hopes in that I liked Trump, I didn't vote for him. It was just me giving him the benefit of the doubt. Again that lasted about 2 weeks until his staff picks started coming in, then I knew my fears about him were confirmed.

That "industry" could be a satirical artists' dream come true...

Binro the Heretic - 2018-08-02

So instead of draining the swamp, trust is mastering the swamp?

SolRo - 2018-08-02

Surveying his accomplishment

Binro the Heretic - 2018-08-02

Holy shit, I typed "trust" instead of Trump?

In my defense, I had a root canal & 2 extractions yesterday, so I'm not exactly firing on all 4 cylinders.
