Yeah, I think that socialists, even though I disagree with them, deserve to have one or two voices in government just for representation sake. But I have a problem with AOC having no filter whatsoever. I got really pissed off with her for going after the CEO of Starbucks for announcing he wants to run for president. She is no one to throw fucking stones and no, Howard Schultz is not automatically the "enemy" just because he's rich. He's done a lot for Starbucks employees to give good benefits. That was the point where I was like just...fuck you and your barrel of hypocrisy.

She is way too green to be thrust into the level of spotlight/media darling bullshit she has been. Just concentrate on learning your job and get back to us in a few years when you have the experience of your colleagues and just learn as much as you can about how Congress works. Then maybe you can be the constant focal point of your party the way Kerry, McCain, Obama and others have been in the past. She literally just started this job and she's all I hear about. There are much smarter Democrats in office who I'd rather hear from, no offense to the ridiculous media celebrity-status seeking circus this shit has turned into.

American socialism would have much more representation than two seats... if it was truly representational of the current state of the American electorate, it would probably be about 75-100 in the house

A lot of these comments get at my initial reaction to this video. Good execution, good cause, but what is it other than performance if something doesn't come out of it. I suppose if I had to choose, I'd rather make all the dirty, pocket-lining politicians out there have to endure something like this on a consistent basis, if for no other reason than principle.
