Back in 93 or 94 my nband got hold of a news clipping about a bunch of people in the the SLC straightedge crew getting hurt in a brawl with a local SLC gang called "Smoke More Pot."

No idea how accurate it was but the whole idea of try-hard stoners in a West Side Story style showdown with try-hard, cryptofascist teetotalers was really funny to us.

The news called it a "reinvention", when in retrospect it was Vanilla Ice's interests gradually aligning with juggalo culture.
