I don’t know how to rate this
The actual subject is 5 evil
The commentator is 1 stupid
The rich prick isn’t an idiot or dumbfounded, he knows exactly how to fix the issue of income not being high enough to cover expenses, but he sure as fuck isn’t going to publicly admit that the dregs need higher pay to live or to say publicly “fuck her, get a second job if you want to pay rent -and- buy food. I’ll be on my 10 million dollar yacht if you need any more advice”

Old_Zircon - 2019-04-19 Cable news at large is just a tapestry of worthlessness and we'd be better off without any of it.

Oh no. She slightly embarrassed a millionaire.
I hate to break it to you but it isn't illegal to pay someone $16 an hour. That isn't even close to minimum wage and it's typical pay for that industry and position.
|
SolRo - 2019-04-20 That's the problem. It's perfectly legal for people that earn 30 million a year to decide that the proletariat in some parts of the country should work 120 hours a week or be homeless.

SolRo - 2019-04-20 Shit, didn't notice it was Bradno saying something that stupid.
Nevermind. Go back to your racist shilling for the "job creators"

Marlon Brawndo - 2019-04-21 SolRo, I'm not defending underpaying people. I agree with you. (Who is saying that??)
The problem for me with this clip is the expectation that this is somehow striking a blow to this guy, who isn't doing anything illegal and he could care less. It's just kind of a waste of time. She feels better for humiliating him publicly but it doesn't change anything and it won't galvanize anyone. I would have killed to make 16/hr for a long fucking time. Most people in this country look at 16/hr as something to aim for and aspire to. So it kind of backfires in a way because this woman doesn't really clarify that. Yes, the bank could afford more, but they pay more than a lot of other jobs that are in the service industry sector. A lot of people would love to get jobs that pay that much.
The problem goes way beyond the bank and has to do with the fact that most Americans have become so desperate that they settle for way less and they've gotten used to it.
Oh God I'm depressed now.
