You're not alone. My fantasy starts to disintegrate when I think about how I would get groceries, or furnish the place, or any of these key questions. (Missile silos tend to be located in the middle of nowhere.) But then I refocus the fantasy on the long, empty, strangely ugly & beautiful hallways & whatnot, and the fantasy comes alive again.

Dude, right? If an ICBM silo was anywhere near a major metro area I would be all about it, but as it is they are all in Wyoming and the Dakotas, or accidentally flooded by aquifer rise. Probably for the best, really....
