This could use a Quinn Martin tag.
Quinn Martin produced a ton of popular TV dramas during the 60s and 70s, often starring middle aged movie white male movie actors like Robert Stack, David Janssen, William Conrad, Karl Malden, etc. I didn't watch a whole lot of those back then, but those Quinn Martin opening credit sequences were incredibly distinctive, with signature use of graphics, cast list, and nearly always the same voice-over actor. The distinctive openings probably made Quinn Martin a household name in the 60s and 70s, which must have been unusual for a behind-the camer figure like a TV producer.
