I hope everyone who was affected by Covid (whether they got it, their work was affected by it, or they were caused emotional distress by it -so basically the entire population except for a couple thousand rich people) sue Trump and every last member of his administration so hard their great great grandchildren are homeless.

My conspiracy theory about Trump is that he doesn't want to be reelected, not really. If I were him, going around telling crowds of adoring idiots about how the liberals and the deep state cheated me out of victory, free of the supremely inconvenient responsibility of actually being president would be a great life. No one knows what's going on behind those dull eyes, but it seems impossible to me that he hasn't made the calculation. If he loses he can still have the rallies and the adoration. He can charge money for his speeches. KaChing!

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2020-06-21 Shortly after he was elected, he complained to an interviewer that he had a "great life" before being elected president and seemed to suggest that he missed it. I can't believe that people took him seriously after that, but I digress.
It's pretty clear that he doesn't have much interest in actually governing. He makes Reagan look like a workaholic. But there's also the part of him that never wants to admit defeat on any issue, ever, so I think that that probably overrides any dissatisfaction he might feel about the job of the presidency itself.
