I will always just think of him as the Crazy Yuppie from the Langoliers.

I have several audio books read by Pinchot and he does a damned fine job of it. He knows how to give each character a distinct voice and proper emotion.

It's sad he was typecast. It's clear looking at his body of work that he was actually a metered actor. The directors of Perfect Strangers got a classic character out of this very metered actor by pulling the wacky out more and more. Later in his career, Pinchot gets to play Stan Laurel and you get to see a little more of his calmer, metered humor. I'm a fan of him, wish he got more jobs.

I have also talked to people who said he was a real pain in the ass to work with. That may have something to do with it.

I loved "Nothing But Trouble" so we all had terrible taste at that age
