Didn't strike me as quite believable, and it might not be. Here's another interview with an SD nurse:
This lady set off my bs detector. Thanks for finding this interview, which I’d say very politely confirms she’s full of shit.
I read that article, and it doesn't say she's full of shit, it says that the nurse being interviewed doesn't have the experience of patients getting mad at nurses and being in denials, and Jodi's comments don't reflect a universal experience. At most she says it's not true that they are literally screaming at nurses as they are being intubated, but that wasn't meant literally in the first place.
I can totally believe overstatement was involved, but I also get frustrated when one person tells a subjective story and some people are like "Ah-hah! Proof!" and then someone else tells a subjective story, and the other people are like "Ah-hah! Debunked!" That's not how it works.
You have a dog in the fight. You don't want it to be real. That's gross. My sister and my cousin are nurses.

You know shit is fucked up when CNN goes for Jodi from SD to answer some questions.

If we didn't have HIPPA protections, we might have a lot more video of people gasping and dying, which might be the kind of imagery necessary to convince people there is a real problem.
Nah. People are in full on denial mode, nothing will fucking convince them.

Yeah when women say things that they say are true, and they make me uncomfortable, I should attack the woman's credibility like Brent Kavanaugh huh
