Watching footage of modern Jackie Chan shill for the Chinese government and wincing in pain like he would in the failed stunt reel at the end of a movie. At least Sammo Hung isn't getting trotted out for propaganda.
yeah my cutoff for jackie chan movies is usually right around shanghai knights. his earlier catalog is still untouchable as far as i'm concerned. he'd have to commit war crimes to get me to say police story or drunken master 2 isn't worth a watch
