After the first few items, this kinda starts to feel like an 8 year old fucking with and torturing animals. I get that the fish/eel is decapitated, but the guy just keeps going for his own amusement. It gets a bit tasteless for my sensibilities.

It's not any different from beheaded chickens running around. Can't torture something if it's already dead.

I mostly agree with you simon. Though I think the finale is sort of neat..

"Can't torture something if it's already dead"

it's not dead though? it's dying. very slowly.

I don't think you're wrong for posting it either, mustard. I was interested by the first few things it chomped.

But here's an example for everyone as to why I find the guy's behavior tasteless. When I was like 14 there was a dead crow in the road that had been hit by a car; like, thoroughly dead, innards coming out, crushed skull, etc. Me and friend put a blackcat firework in beak and blew it up, then did another in its body someplace. Then we became disgusted by our actions. The crow was dead. It didn't care and didn't feel a thing. But we were behaving grotesquely in our excitement and fascination with fucking up and missing with this dead crow.

Similarly, this guy's innocent curiosity turns into a gross fascination where he's trying to find all the stuff he can do to this fish head. The kind of attitude this guy must have in that moment is what I'm taking offense at. Whether or not the fish/eel just has motor neurons reacting automatically due to random stimulation or whether it is actually alive to some degree is an issue that does bear on the morality of the guy's behavior, but I see it as a separate issue from what I'm talking about.

This isn't a "decapitated head" it's a wolf eel that had everything other than its head chopped off.

It's a dying animal. Evolution didn't give it lungs or vocal cords to scream with nor facial muscles to express misery and pain with or we would know it was suffering.

Fuck this video. Fuck the sick fucks who made it. I hope a wolf eel bites off all their goddamned fingers.

Yes, it's worth a million stars for evil, but I can't bring myself to rate it.

Fuck, this was a shitty end to a shitty day.

"everything other than its head chopped off"

So a decapitated head then.

Binro the Heretic - 2021-05-25

If we were talking about something like a mammal, yes. It would die immediately if you cut off everything but the head.

But that's not what we're looking at, is it? We're looking at a living fish with its body cut off.

And if it had the same equipment to express pain as other animals, we would see that clearly.

Didn't watch. Giving me flashbacks of that one Korean animated film. :(
