Unstuck in time, Loki appears as a more convincing everyman than Billy Pilgrim. Like so many of us, he finally learns that he's mostly a god in his own mind. it's quite touching. I can't wait for next Wednesday to arrive.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2021-07-20 I was already obsessed with the MCU, and LOKI is the very finest that the MCU has to offer. The action scenes are perfectly solid' but, compared to the big screen tentpole movies, the story is more at the center of things, and among other thngs, that makes for an entertainment that just keeps getting better with repeated viewings.
casualcollapse said it for me. As complex and sophisticated as the MCU has become, it's an extension of what was my favorite cartoon when I was eight years old. It speaks to the adult, and to the child. I can remember Stan Lee taking about how great the coming movies were going to be, back years before it was really going to happen. It was his dream, but you know what? It was mine, too.

What sucks about this clip is that it cuts out just before the inclusion of the classic Hanna-Barbera "running footsteps" sound effect.
