This guy's coverage of the Trump phenomenon is incredible. He goes there in person, genuinely tries to have conversations with the dipshits, and his tactics never feel exploitative; they really do hang themselves by their own idiocy.

And occasionally, he even finds a semi-reasonable person with whom he has a minor breakthrough.

Jordan Klepper finds a way to empathize with these awful people while never swallowing their shit or letting awfulness slide.

I guess we watched different videos. I just saw a lot of 'gotcha!' set-ups, some of which were funny and all of which were deserved, but no attempts at empathy or understanding.

Yeah, in this particular video he was dealing with nothing but disingenuous dickweeds.... so there wasn't any empathizing.
