I liked Spuds in these commercials that tied into something topical, like the Olympics where he was in the games himself. I never saw this one for Halloween.

I was into Alex from Stroh's more, he liked to hang with the guys at home, compared to the playboy Spuds, though he did bigger pranks like ordering a whole semi full of beer one time.

I have two posters of Alex, where he's running for office, and Alex with military dog tags on. Someone gave me the election poster in 1990, and I got the military Alex just a few years ago finally, after seeing it one time in a bar when it was new, and thinking about it since then.

Memories.. I hope they bring back beer dogs.
