I would love to take the bus to & from work. I hate having to drive during the rush and would love to sit and listen to podcasts or audio books while someone else drives me home.

But the nearest stop to me is 15 minutes away by car and there's no place I could safely leave my vehicle parked all day.

Also, I would arrive at work an hour late after five bus changes.

One of our local politicians ran on slashing the transit budget because it was "unfair" that "some people" were having their transportation "subsidized" by the taxpayers.

Of course, this is Florida, so I shouldn't be surprised by any of this.

I've been watching a lot of these urban planning videos. The vast of America is a suburban hellscape. Why do Americans like this?
