Also despite the fact that I've seen this show and this episode countless times, I just now realized that near the end Ellen is wearing a hat that just says "METAL" on it.
This show was such genius. It was the "Get a Life!" of children's programming, and unlike Get a Life!, it actually stuck around for a couple seasons.
